Tell us about your professional background?
I completed my B.E.(Mechanical) in 2018. Soon after my  Bachelor’s degree, I started working for RhythmOne.PLC as a Business Operations Associate. I wanted to be in the emerging Data Science & Analytics field. But coming from a mechanical background, a transition into Analytics was difficult for me. That’s when I decided to join Great Learning to upskill myself in the field of Data Science and Analytics.
What do you have to say about GL’s PGP- DSE Program?
I am a student of March 2019 PGP- Data Science & engineering batch. Great Learning’s PGP- Data science and engineering program is well structured. I was much worried about the course since I was from a non-programming background. The course started with a session on Python, which made it easy for people like me who has no prior knowledge in the field to understand the subject. The faculty and mentors at Great Learning come to the classroom with much experience in their respective domains. Students are immensely helped by these industrially established personnel to understand the subject in depth.
Why did you choose Great Learning for an Analyst career?
Unlike other upskilling platforms, Great Learning has a comprehensive approach to a student’s career. The Career support team was very reassuring. Towards the end of the program, we had a placement Bootcamp at Great Learning that helped me to face the interview confidently. Even before the completion of the program, I was placed in Latentview Analytics, Chennai as an Analyst.
How was your journey with Great Learning?
My dream of entering into Analytics field came true because of Great Learning. Even now I don’t want to end my journey with Great Learning. Now that my PGP-Data science program is over,  I am planning to enrol for the PGPM – Flex to move into the next phase of my life. Overall I would say it was a great period of tremendous personal growth, In a single word I would say my Great Learning experience as “Inspiring”.
